     Charles H. Dollard was born on 31 August 1931 at Claremore, Rogers Co., OK.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Fredrick Dollard and Violet Belle Kirkley.¹ Charles H. Dollard died on 22 May 2010 at Claremore, Rogers Co., OK, at age 78.² He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Claremore, Rogers Co., OK.³
     From an obituary: Services for Charles H. "Bud" Dollard will be 10:00 a.m., Thurs., May 27th, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church. Bud passed away Sat., May 22nd, 2010. He was 78. On Aug. 31st, 1931, Bud was born to Charlie and Violet (Kirkley) Dollard in Claremore. He received his education here, graduating in 1949 prior to service in the Air Force during the Korean War. In 1952, Bud and Susie Wilson met in California and began their life together in 1953 with a wedding ceremony in Claremore. As a result of Bud's work as a site supervisor in the nation's Minute Man missile defense system, the family relocated frequently; they lived in Florida, Missouri, Nebraska and many parts of the Northwest before settling in Claremore in 1980.
     Capable and competent, Bud was skilled in many areas. At the age of 23 he built his first home and completed the cycle by building the family's last home in Claremore, a tri-level home on 80 acres known as the Dollard Ranch. He also rebuilt almost any type of engine, car, tractor or boat, many of which are still in use today. Busy on his farm and in his shop, Bud still found time to enjoy the simple pleasures of a round of golf, an afternoon of fishing or a camping trip with his beloved family.
     Remembered as "larger than life," and "a genius," Bud is survived by his wife, Susie, of their home in Claremore; his sons, Mark Dollard and wife, Connie, of Haskell, Steve Dollard of Los Angeles, California, and Joe Dollard and wife, Luellyn, of Alexandria, Va; grandchildren, Greg, Katelyn, Johnny Danger, and Quentin; siblings, Lorene and George Kimball of Broken Arrow, Sue and Ray D'Armond of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Jim and Arrie Dollard of Evergreen, Colorado, and Mary Lou and Lloyd Starkey of Claremore and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by life-long friends, Don and Agnes Perry and Ralph and Mary Jo Bridwell. He was preceded in death by his parents.³      Photo from an obituary.³

Harger, on 4 October 1936.¹ Oscar Leonard Carlson died on 16 July 2010 at Arkansas City, Cowley Co., KS, at age 93.¹
