     Roberta Jean Carrier was born on 16 August 1949 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY; twin of Rodney.¹ She was the daughter of Howard Nealand Carrier and Mildred Melva Pugh.¹ Roberta Jean Carrier died on 30 October 2003 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY, at age 54.¹ She was buried on 3 November 2003 at St. Agatha's Cemetery, Canastota, Madison Co., NY.¹
     Her married name was Sgambellone. Her married name was Horn. From an obituary: Bobbie Carrier Sgambellone, 54, 7182 Bee Bee Bridge Road, died Thursday morning, October 30, 2003, in the Crouse Hospital, where she had been a medical patient. Born in Utica on August 16, 1949, she was the daughter of Howard and Mildred Pugh Carrier. A resident of Canastota for the past five years, Mrs. Sgambellone was a graduate of Holland Patent High School and Central City Business Institute. She married Dominick J. 'Doc' Sgambellone in Syracuse on December 26, 1998. Mrs. Sgambellone was a management administrator with Rome Laboratories for over twenty-five years, and had been previously employed with the United States Selective Service. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church, Canastota, and was a representative with various federal employee associations.
     Surviving besides her husband, Doc, is one son, Todd A. Carrier of Canastota; one stepson, Dominick J. Sgambellone II of Syracuse; one stepdaughter, Lindsay M. Sgambellone of Syracuse; two brothers and sister-in-law, Neal and Sally Carrier of Floyd, and Beryl Carrierand his friend, Mona Powers of Deerfield; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Mary McSweeney of Queensbury, Carmella Wood of San Diego, CA,and Teresa and Hussein Soueidan of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Rodney Carrier, and another brother, Dean Carrier.¹

     Rodney John Carrier was born on 16 August 1949 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Howard Nealand Carrier and Mildred Melva Pugh.¹ Rodney John Carrier died on 25 April 1982 at Rome, Oneida Co., NY, at age 32.¹ He was buried at Prospect Cemetery, Prospect, Oneida Co., NY.¹
