Hope Chapter 23, Order of the Eastern Star, and Reba Rebeekah Lodge 12. Mrs. Swanson was a member of First Baptist Church and participated in its AMICAE guild. She leaves two sons, Walter "Skip" Swanson of Bristol and Steven D. Swanson of Rockledge, Fla; two daughters, Carol L. Cornman of Lebanon, N.H., and Patricia S. Koehne of Riverside; a brother, A. Dana Farrar of Coventry; a sister, Virginia F. Wass of Richmond; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.4
