     He managed a hotel in East Hickory and operated his fathers grist mill. He moved to Tionesta in 1887 and owned a store.¹

     Racheal Brenneman was born in July 1859 at Clarion Co., PA.^1,2 She was the daughter of C. C. Brenneman.¹ Racheal Brenneman married John Wesley Ball, son of Nelson Green Ball and Martha I. Hunter, on 2 August 1875.¹

Hunter.¹ William Napolean Ball married Florence Ella Morgan, daughter of Joseph Morgan and Cynthia Smathers, in 1897.¹ William Napolean Ball died on 25 November 1939 at Tionesta, Forest Co., PA, at age 76.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Tionesta, Forest Co., PA.¹

     Florence Ella Morgan was born in August 1875 at Cooksburg, Forest Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Morgan and Cynthia Smathers.¹ Florence Ella Morgan married William Napolean Ball, son of Nelson Green Ball and Martha I. Hunter, in 1897.¹ Florence Ella Morgan died in September 1955 at Tionesta, Forest Co., PA, at age 80.¹ She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Tionesta, Forest Co., PA.¹

Galbraith and Nancy M. Johnson, on 10 November 1917 at Augusta, Richmond Co., GA.¹ Myra Julia Scott Splane married Sylvenus G. Davis, son of George Davis and Isabel Leonhart, on 27 March 1954 at Franklin, Venango Co., PA.¹ Myra Julia Scott Splane died on 25 August 1970 at Franklin, Venango Co., PA, at age 80.¹ She was buried at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Venango Co., PA.¹

     Isaac Homer Ball was born on 10 April 1856 at East Hickory, Forest Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Nelson Green Ball and Martha I. Hunter.¹ Isaac Homer Ball married Ida Shuret on 19 September 1879 at Tidioute, Warren Co., PA.^1,2 Isaac Homer Ball married Edith Adelva Kiffer, daughter of Henry C. Kiffer and Elizabeth Cromer, on 15 February 1905 at Tionesta, Forest Co., PA; "Belva Kiffer Lawrance."^3,2 Isaac Homer Ball died on 14 June 1916 at Endeavor, Forest Co., PA, at age 60.¹ He was buried at East Hickory Cemetery, Forest Co., PA.¹
     From an obituary: Isaac Homer Ball died at his home in Endeavor, Pa., at 8:55 o'clock Wednesday night after an illness of many months duration. The deceased was widely and favorably known throughout this section and in Oil City where he conducted a livery and cab business for a period of 28 years, leaving there eight years ago to return to his native community to operate a stage line and mail route between West Hickory and Endeavor. Mr. Ball was born in Hickory Township, Forest County, Pa., his parents being the late Nelson and Martha Hunter Ball Sr. He was twice married, his first wife being Miss Ida Shuret of Binghamton, N.Y., who died while the family lived in Oil City. To this union were born seven children, five of whom survive, as follows: Frank of Oil City; Seward of Pleasantville; Grover of Erie; Mrs. Frank Bradley of Oil City, Miss Ida Ball of East Hickory. He is survived by his second wife who was the Miss Delva Kiffer, and the following children by this union: Nelson, Isaac Homer Jr., and Evan all at home. One brother, William N. Ball of Tionesta and three sisters also survive, as follows: Mrs. Sally Albaugh of East Hickory, Mrs. J.J. Zahniser of New Brighton, Pa., and Mrs. W.E.
