     Emmett O. Ball was born in November 1876 at MO.³ He was the son of John David Ball and Cordelia Jane Harris.¹ Emmett O. Ball married Ava Mae Dill circa 1901.^4,2

     Ormal Ross Ball was born on 25 May 1880 at Dade Co., MO.³ He was the son of John David Ball and Cordelia Jane Harris.⁴ Ormal Ross Ball married Daisy Dell Weir, daughter of Samuel J. Weir and Martha D. (????), circa 1902.^5,6 Ormal Ross Ball married Nellie Gilliland, daughter of Hugh W. Gilliland and Nancy E. Bryant, say 1915.² Ormal Ross Ball died on 8 July 1944 at age 64.³

     Cora Pyle was born in December 1882 at MO.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Jasper Pyle and Margaret Phebe Ball.¹

     Robert P. Lukens was born on 18 June 1847 at OH.^2,3 He was the son of Eli B. Lukens and Achsah (????)² Robert P. Lukens married Anna Elizabeth Ball, daughter of Joseph Evan Ball and Mary Elizabeth Gray, on 25 November 1874 at Ray Co., MO.⁴ Robert P. Lukens died on 18 June 1923 at age 76.³

     Vernon Patterson Lukens was born on 23 September 1878 at MO.^1,2 He was the son of Robert P. Lukens and Anna Elizabeth Ball.³ Vernon Patterson Lukens married Myrtle Belle McGowan, daughter of Alfred Monte McGowan and Martha A. Wood, circa 1901.^3,4 Vernon Patterson Lukens died on 12 April 1961 at age 82.² He was buried at Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.²

     Myrtle Belle McGowan was born on 22 November 1880 at Christian Co., MO.^2,1 She was the daughter of Alfred Monte McGowan and Martha A. Wood.¹ Myrtle Belle McGowan married Vernon Patterson Lukens, son of Robert P. Lukens and Anna Elizabeth Ball, circa 1901.^3,2 Myrtle Belle McGowan died on 27 November 1964 at San Mateo Co., CA, at age 84.¹ She was buried at Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.¹

     Ida Damaris Ball was born on 12 October 1870 at Swanwick, Ray Co., MO.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Evan Ball and Mary Elizabeth Gray.¹ Ida Damaris Ball married Samuel Franklin Bowman, son of Joshua Franklin Bowman and Sophia Jane McGee, on 21 November 1899 at Kansas City, MO.¹ Ida Damaris Ball died on 14 January 1955 at Springfield, MO, at age 84.¹ She was buried at Mount Washington Cemetery, Jackson Co., MO.²

     Samuel Franklin Bowman was born on 25 November 1871 at Rich Fountain, Osage Co., MO.² He was the son of Joshua Franklin Bowman and Sophia Jane McGee.² Samuel Franklin Bowman married Ida Damaris Ball, daughter of Joseph Evan Ball and Mary Elizabeth Gray, on 21 November 1899 at Kansas City, MO.¹ Samuel Franklin Bowman died on 8 June 1950 at Buffalo, Dallas Co., MO, at age 78.² He was buried at Mount Washington Cemetery, Jackson Co., MO.²

     Alpheus Joseph Lukens was born on 8 June 1878 at Richmond, Franklin Co., KS.² He was the son of George M. Lukens and Emily Alzada Ball.¹ Alpheus Joseph Lukens married Mamie Viola Redfield, daughter of George Zina Redfield and Imogene Inez Austin, on 14 September 1904 at Bucklin, Ford Co., KS.² Alpheus Joseph Lukens died on 7 December 1921 at Independence, Jackson Co., MO, at age 43.² He was buried at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Jackson Co., MO.²
     From an obituary in the "Independence Examiner": Independence Jeweler Dies at Sanitarium After a Brief Illness.
J. A. Lukens, proprietor of the Edison Shop on the west side of the square, died at 2 o’clock this morning at the Independence Sanitarium, following the rupture of a blood vessel. Mr. Lukens had gone to the sanitarium Tuesday to receive treatment for asthma, from which he had been suffering for several days. Mr. Lukens had lived in Independence four years, coming here from Atchison, Kans. For the past two years he had been in business for himself. He was born in Richmond, Kans., forty three years ago. In 1905 he was married Miss Mayme Redfield, a sister of R. R. Redfield of this city. He is survived by his wife and four children, Herman, Harland, Gene and June Marie. Mr. Lukens was a graduate optometrist and experienced jeweler. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Stone Church. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery.²
