He is survived by his wife and two children, G. W. Bean of Tacoma and Mrs. A. C. Seyerstend of Portland; a brother, L. C. Bean of Seattle, and another brother residing in Pennsylvania. Mr. Bean was a Civil War veteran, having served with the 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry from April, 1863, to July, 1865.3
