Weber.¹ Lawrence Joseph Bagley married Mabel Margaret Farnsworth, daughter of Elwin Harry Farnsworth and Mabel Lois Kime, on 30 June 1936 at Catholic Church in Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND.¹ Lawrence Joseph Bagley died on 16 February 2004 at Belgrade Nursing Home, Belgrade, Stearns Co., MN, at age 92.¹ He was buried on 20 February 2004 at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Regal, Kandiyohi Co., MN.¹
     From an obituary in "The Paynesville Press": Lawrence Bagley, 92, of Regal, died on Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at the Belgrade Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Regal. Reverend Fred Fink will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Anthony's parish Cemetery in Regal. Lawrence was born July 7, 1911, in Dickey County, N. D., to Lewis and Anna (Weber) Bagley. He married Margaret Farnsworth in 1936 in Edgely, N. D. They moved to the Regal area where they farmed until retiring in 1962. During their retirement, they would winter in Lake Placid, Fla. for the next 36 years. He was a member of St. Anthony's Parish in Regal. Lawrence loved to hunt, fish and garden all his life. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Regal; daughters, Pauline (Jim) Bower of Boerne, Texas, and Carol (Larry) Jones of Regal; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Gertgen of Kandiyohi and Ruth Braun of Lake Placid, Fla. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lester, and two infant great-grandchildren.¹

     Pauline Bagley is the daughter of Lawrence Joseph Bagley and Mabel Margaret Farnsworth.¹

Andrews.¹ Vernon Roland Turney married Lillian Myrtle Farnsworth, daughter of Elwin Harry Farnsworth and Mabel Lois Kime, on 27 June 1948 at Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND.¹ Vernon Roland Turney died on 16 July 1992 at Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND, at age 71.¹ He was buried on 21 July 1992 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND.¹
     From the Edgeley (ND) Centennial History Book, published in 1986: Roland learned to run the projector at the Iris Theater in 1939, now known as the Dakotah Theatre, and has operated it ever since, except when he served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was employed by the Edgeley Co-op Creamery, delivering milk, house to house from 1947 to 1959. In 1959 he was employed by the Edgeley Public School for custodial work and has served 27 years.¹

     Mishele G. Turney is the daughter of Vernon Roland Turney and Lillian Myrtle Farnsworth.¹

     Bessie Lillian Kime was born on 3 September 1896 at Streator, LaSalle Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur George Kime and Anna Blanche Brooker.¹ Bessie Lillian Kime married John Henry Bagley, son of Dorland Bagley and Augusta H. Newman, on 30 June 1913 at Ellendale, Dickey Co., ND.¹ Bessie Lillian Kime died on 7 March 1986 at Willmar, Kandiyohi Co., MN, at age 89.¹ She was buried at Roseville Cemetery, Hawick, Kandiyohi Co., MN.¹
     As of 30 June 1913,her married name was Bagley. From an obituary in the "West Central Tribune": Bessie L. Bagley, 89, of Willmar, died Friday evening at Rice Memorial Hospital. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glenn W. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery in Hawick. She was born Sept. 3, 1896, at Streetor, Ill., the daughter of Anna and Arthur Kime. She and her husband, John, lived and farmed in the Regal and Hawick area for many years. She moved to Willmar in 1965 and had been a resident of the Willmar Health Care Center for the past three years. Surviving are a foster son, Donald Hardman of Seattle, Wash., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, in 1950; a son in infancy; and two sisters.¹

     John Henry Bagley was born on 16 December 1886 at Bagley, Grant Co., WI.¹ He was the son of Dorland Bagley and Augusta H. Newman.¹ John Henry Bagley married Bessie Lillian Kime, daughter of Arthur George Kime and Anna Blanche Brooker, on 30 June 1913 at Ellendale, Dickey Co., ND.¹ John Henry Bagley died on 19 June 1950 at Paynesville, Stearns Co., MN, at age 63.¹ He was buried at Roseville Cemetery, Hawick, Kandiyohi Co., MN.¹

     Arthur George Kime was born on 2 April 1867 at La Salle Co., IL.¹ He was the son of George J. Kime and Nancy Ann Tole.¹ Arthur George Kime married Anna Blanche Brooker, daughter of William M. Brooker and Nancy Lavina Bardwell, on 14 March 1889 at Fall River, LaSalle Co., IL.¹ Arthur George Kime died on 25 April 1947 at Stearns Co., MN, at age 80.¹ He was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND.¹
     He Arthur Kime's given name was George Arthur Kime, which appears in some official documents. Arthur's father George Kime was from Germany and was killed in Farm Ridge Township in a horse accident July 9, 1867, when his son was 3 months old. The petition by his widow Nancy A. Kime dated July 12, 1867 indicates that said deceased left surviving him his widow, Edith Kime his daughter and an infant son his only children, as heirs.¹ From an obituary in "The Edgeley Mail": Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church on Monday for Arthur Kime, whose death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Bagley, Paynesville, Minn., on Friday, April 25. Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Arthur Kime was born April 2, 1867, in LaSalle County, Illinois, the son of George and Nancy Kime. On March 14, 1889 he was united in marriage to Anna Brooker of Ottawa, Ill. Six children were born to the union, of whom three died in early childhood. Mrs. Kime passed away on July 1, 1940. Mr. and Mrs. Kime came to North Dakota in 1908 and lived most of the time on farms in the vicinity of Edgeley, moving to town about four years previous to Mrs. Kime's death. Since then Mr. Kime lived most of the time at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Bagley. The deceased is survived by his three daughters, Mrs. Bagley, Mrs. E. L. Accola of Prairie du Sac, Wis., and Mrs. Elwin Farnsworth of this city. Other relatives include two half brothers and one half sister, and seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends who came from a distance to be present at the rites were Mr. and Mrs. John Bagley, Mrs. Lawrence Bagley and daughter of Paynesville; Mr. and Mrs. William Singer of Strawn, Ill; Mrs. Lou Bagley and Orlean Bagley also from Minnesota.¹

Kime and Nancy Ann Tole, on 14 March 1889 at Fall River, LaSalle Co., IL.¹ Anna Blanche Brooker died on 1 July 1940 at Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND, at age 73.¹ She was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, LaMoure Co., ND.¹

From an obituary in "The Edgeley Mail": Mrs. Arthur Kime, a resident of Edgeley and vicinity for the past 32 years, passed away at her home here early Monday morning, July 1st. Anna Brooker was born March 2, 1867 in Ottawa, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brooker. She spent her girlhood in Ottawa and was married there to Arthur Kime on March 14, 1889. Mr. and Mrs. Kime observed their golden wedding anniversary last year. The deceased is survived by her husband, and three daughters, Mrs. E. L. Accola of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin; Mrs. John Bagley of Regal, Minnesota; and Mrs. Elwin Farnsworth of Edgeley. Three children died in infancy. Also surviving are four sisters living in Illinois, Mrs.Kime being the youngest. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist Church with Rev. A. E. Hooke in charge. Interment was made in Mount Hope Cemetery. Relatives attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. John Bagley, a granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Bagley and baby daughter Pauline Ann; and Mrs. Lou Bagley of Regal, Minnesota.¹

     From an obituary in a LaSalle Co. IL newspaper: William Brooker, an old resident of La Salle county, died Wednesday afternoon, July 21, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. Robinett, three and one-half miles south of Ottawa. He was eighty-seven years old. He was born in London, England in 1822, but at the age of seventeen came to America, locating in Ohio. Three years later he came to Illinois, settling in Farm Ridge township, this county. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Robinette and Mrs. Frances Hogaboom, of Ottawa, Mrs. Rosie Jones, of Chicago, Mrs. Anna Kime of Dakota and one son, William Brooker, Jr., of Fall River township.¹
