Robert Webster, pastor of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Memorial Park Cemetery, Vestal.4

     Comment by DGB: The data strongly suggests that Joan Ball and Frank Martinek divorced before 1962. End of comment. From an obituary: Frank M. Martinek, age 69, of 317 Meaker Rd., Vestal died unexpectedly at his residence, Saturday, February 4, 1989 at 11 a.m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rita J. Martinek, Vestal; four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Paul Karika, Whitney Point, NY, Shelley and Steven Yarwood, Brackney, Pa., Melody and Gregory McGuire, Ithaca, NY, Penney and Richard Cady, Apalachin; two sons, Kevin Landon, Newark Valley, Craig Landon, Vestal; 19 grandchildren; several nephews; neices and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Frank G. Martinek. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church, Endicott; a retired Rural Mail Carrier for the Town of Vestal for over 32 years; a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy; a member of NRA; a member of the Kickapoo Tribe #236 Improved Order of Red Men of Vestal Center and an avid sportsman. Burial will be later in Maine Cemetery, Maine, NY.3
