     Silas Ball was born on 12 March 1795 at Boonton, Morris Co., NJ.1 He was the son of John Ball and Martha Howell.1 Silas Ball married Mary Ann Broadwell, daughter of Stephen Broadwell and Elizabeth Allen, on 12 August 1819 at Knox Co., OH.1 Silas Ball died on 18 January 1864 at OH at age 68.1 He was buried at Ball Cemetery, Knox Co., OH.1
