PA, with parents, etc.¹ She appeared on the census of 22 August 1860 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA; "Emma" age 11, b. PA, with parents, etc.²

     Benedict Champlin Ball was born on 1 June 1882 at North Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT.¹ He was the son of George Edgar Ball and Flora Ella Webb.¹ Benedict Champlin Ball married Ione Downing, daughter of Edgar Shelton Downing and Nettie Kesiah Munkres, on 12 August 1913.¹ Benedict Champlin Ball died on 27 January 1941 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 58.¹
