     Annulet Ball was born on 31 December 1810 at Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.² She was the daughter of Frederick Ball and Eliza Toxey.¹ Annulet Ball married Garnett Andrews, son of John Andrews and Nancy Goode, on 10 April 1828 at Wilkes Co., GA.³ Annulet Ball died on 22 January 1872 at Washington, Wilkes Co., GA, at age 61.²

VT, farmer, with second wife Phebe and James Rogers (age 7, b. VT, perhaps a step-son).³ He appeared on the census of 12 July 1870 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT; "Ansell" age 60, b. VT, farmer, living between his brothers Stephen and Michael.⁴ He appeared on the census of 19 June 1880 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT; "Ancil O." age 67, b. VT, farmer, with third wife Anna, nephew William Thorpe, and Willard Ball (age 21, b. VT, relationship unknown).⁵

     Ansel Ball was born circa 1838 at NY.¹ He was the son of Sylvester Ball and Rosella Williams.¹

     Anselm M. Ball was born on 28 September 1830 at NY.¹ He was the son of Daniel Ball and Diantha Clara Clark.² Anselm M. Ball married Fanny M. Morford. Anselm M. Ball married Emeline Hayden. Anselm M. Ball died circa July 1892; Comment by DGB: Dr. Druse had the date of 20 Jul 1898, which may just be a typo in the year or an error in transcription from Anselm's gravestone. End of comment.¹ He was buried at Fisher Cemetery, Fisher, Branch Co., MI.
     "Anselm Ball" was in the Union army during the Civil War, a member of the 24th Michigan, Company "I."¹ He appeared on the census of 15 July 1850 at Ovid, Branch Co., MI; "Ansel" age 18, b. NY, farmer, with parents, etc.³ He appeared on the census of 3 June 1870 at Ovid, Branch Co., MI; "Anslen" age 38, b. NY, farmer, with wife Fanny and step-daughter Effie.⁴ He appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 at Ovid, Branch Co., MI; "Anselm" age 49, b. NY, farmer, with wife Fanny.⁵

     Anson Ball was born on 19 March 1817 at NY.¹ He was the son of Stephen Ball and Polly Leonard.¹ Anson Ball married Caroline Moore say 1848.¹ Anson Ball died on 27 April 1884 at Berkshire, Tioga Co., NY, at age 67.¹

PA, farmer, with wife Fannie, son Phelps and Fatima Stark, who he had lived most of his life with.⁴

     Appleton C. Ball was born in October 1864 at Queens Co., NS, Canada.^1,2 He was the son of John Ball and Lillian Ramey.² Appleton C. Ball married Jennie H. Gilmore, daughter of Robert Gilmore and Sarah (????), in 1891 at Northbridge, Worcester Co., MA.^3,4 Appleton C. Ball died at RI.²
     Appleton C. Ball appeared on the census of April 1881 at Grand Mira, Cape Breton Co., NS, Canada; "Appleton" age 17, b. NS, Canada, miller, with parents, etc.⁵ He was an engineer in 1892 at Whitinsville, Worcester Co., MA.¹ He appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at Northbridge, Worcester Co., MA; "Appeleton" age 36, b. Canada, electrical engineer, with wife Jennie, children Sarah, Lillian, Florence, Alice, and Lawrence, mother-lin-law Sarah Gilmore, brother-in-law Robert Gilmore, and sister-in-law Margaret Gilmore.⁴ He appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Northbridge, Worcester Co., MA; "Appleton C." age 47, b. NS, Canada, machine shop engineer, with wife Jennie and children Lillian, Florence, Alice and Lawrence.⁷ He appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at Northbridge, Worcester Co., MA; "Appleton" age 66, b. NS, Canada, machine shop engineer, with wife Jennie and mother-in-law Sarah Gilmore.⁸

     Ara Ezra Ball was born on 23 February 1885 at VT.^1,2 He was the son of Ezra Michael Ball and Sarah Helena Palmer.¹ Ara Ezra Ball married Hazel May Sheldon, daughter of Lottie A. (????), on 19 June 1911.¹ Ara Ezra Ball married Alice J. Page circa 1924.³

VT, school housekeeper, with parents, etc.⁴ He appeared on the census of 15 March 1920 at Ferrisburgh, Addison Co., VT; "Ara E." age 34, b.
