     Chauncey M. Reed was born in June 1896 at Boothbay, Lincoln Co., ME.¹ He was the son of David Alvin Reed and Orissa E. Preble.¹ Chauncey M. Reed married Mabel E. Cummings in June 1966 at ME.¹ Chauncey M. Reed died on 18 May 1982 at Topsham, Sagadahoc Co., ME, at age 85.¹

     Eliza Reed was born circa 30 May 1807 at Princeton, Worcester Co., MA; age at death 45y 4m 4d.³ She was the daughter of William Reed.² Eliza Reed married Jonas Ball, son of Eleazer Ball and Lucy Rozer, on 25 May 1825 at Rutland, Worcester Co., MA; "Eliza Read."⁴ Eliza Reed died on 4 October 1852 at West Boylston, Worcester Co., MA.³
     Comment by DGB: Apparently Jonas and Eliza divorced before 1845, since Jonas remarried c1845. End of comment. She appeared on the census of 24 September 1850 at West Boylston, Worcester Co., MA; "Eliza" age 43, b. MA, with son Lewis; living with daughter Louisa and family.⁵

     Eliza Edna Reed was born on 25 May 1879 at Boothbay, Lincoln Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of David Alvin Reed and Orissa E. Preble.¹ Eliza Edna Reed died on 29 August 1973 at Boothbay, Lincoln Co., ME, at age 94.¹

     Elizabeth Reed married Nathan Ball, son of Nathan Ball and Mary Williams, on 25 March 1766 at Groton, Middlesex Co., MA.²

     Elizabeth Bailey Reed was born on 17 October 1847 at West Boothbay Harbor, Lincoln Co., ME.¹ She was the daughter of Bailey B. Reed and Mary Elizabeth Lewis.¹
