     Elijah Norcross was born on 12 May 1774 at Mendon, Worcester Co., MA.² He was the son of Daniel Norcross and Abigail Chapin.² Elijah Norcross married Lydia Peirce, daughter of Francis Peirce and Lydia Ball, on 28 December 1802.¹ Elijah Norcross died on 27 September 1818 at Upton, Worcester Co., MA, at age 44.²
