     Lydia Jane Eighmy was born on 24 March 1824 at Dutchess Co., NY.² She was the daughter of Isaac A. Eighmy and Sophronia Pond.¹ Lydia Jane Eighmy married Daniel Burras in September 1842.^1,2 Lydia Jane Eighmy died on 27 July 1847 at Crawford Co., PA, at age 23.²
     As of September 1842,her married name was Burras.

     Daniel Burras was born circa 1823 at OH.² He married Lydia Jane Eighmy, daughter of Isaac A. Eighmy and Sophronia Pond, in September 1842.^1,2

     Levi Burras was born on 2 March 1844 at PA.² He was the son of Daniel Burras and Lydia Jane Eighmy.¹ Levi Burras married Marilla Aldrich, daughter of Peter Aldrich and Louisa Ford, on 7 October 1865 at Grattan, Kent Co., MI.² Levi Burras died on 12 April 1911 at Kent Co., MI, at age 67.²

     Sarah Jane Burras was born on 2 July 1846 at Blackhawk Co., PA; Comment by DGB: Note that all of her census records list her birthplace as MI. End of comment.² She was the daughter of Daniel Burras and Lydia Jane Eighmy.¹ Sarah Jane Burras married Leonard Ezra Whitney, son of Ezra Leonard Whitney and Julia Pelton, circa 1863.² Sarah Jane Burras died on 7 July 1917 at Hope, Barry Co., MI, at age 71.² She was buried at Irving Cemetery, Barry Co., MI.³

     Mary Ann Eighmy was born on 25 December 1858 at PA; Comment by DGB: Her gravestone gives a birth date of 25 Dec 1861, but since she was recorded with her family on the 1860 and 1870 censuses, as well as on the 1880 census with her husband at a greater age, it is likely that her actual birth year was 1858. End of comment.^1,3 She was the daughter of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman.¹ Mary Ann Eighmy married Nelson Warren Brown, son of Julius N. Brown and Sarah Ann Woodward, circa 1879.² Mary Ann Eighmy died on 5 July 1927 at age 68.³ She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., KS.³
     As of circa 1879,her married name was Brown.²

     Harriet Eighmy was born circa February 1860 at PA.¹ She was the daughter of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman.¹

     Ida Eighmy was born circa 1864 at PA.¹ She was the daughter of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman.¹

     John Hiram Eighmey was born in September 1866 at PA; his tombstone lists his birth date as 17 Jul 1866.^3,4 He was the son of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman.¹ John Hiram Eighmey married Anna Riser, daughter of Thomas Riser and Matilda McMillen, on 16 November 1893 at Wood Co., OH.^4,5 John Hiram Eighmey died on 26 December 1925 at Olmsted Co., MN, at age 59; "John H. Eighmey."⁶ He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Montgomery Co., KS.³

     Harvey Newton was born in January 1853 at PA.² He married Evalina Frances Eighmy, daughter of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman, circa 1882.^1,2

     Edward Taggart was born circa 1845 at NJ.¹ He was the son of James Randolph Taggart and Mary (????)^1,2 Edward Taggart married Isabella Esa Eighmy, daughter of Hiram Pond Eighmy and Catherine Nearman, circa 1870.¹

     Catherine Taggart was born on 24 May 1871 at Titusville, Crawford Co., PA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Edward Taggart and Isabella Esa Eighmy.¹ Catherine Taggart married William Ernest Painter in 1887.¹ Catherine Taggart died on 13 April 1922 at Copan, Washington Co., OK, at age 50.¹ She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Montgomery Co., KS.³
     Comment by DGB: Isabella Esa (Eighmy) Taggart is listed on the 1880 census as separated from her husband and 10 year old Catherine Taggart is listed that year living with her uncle and aunt Nelson and Mary Brown (Mary being sister to Isabella). The two "Taggart" surnames look good to be mother and daughter with daughter away from a difficult marriage of parents. Unfortunately, I have not found Isabella's twin Evalina Eighmy on that census. This is potentially a critical piece of evidence, because on Catherine (Taggart) Painter's obituary in the "Independence Daily Reporter" includes: "Mrs. William Painter of Copan, a sister of Mrs. Clyde Deer, formerly of this city, died at Copan, Okla. last night." That would support that Catherine Taggart was the daughter of Evalina Eighmy and not Evalina's sister Isabella Eighmy. That would then bring up the question as to whether Evalina was married to a different Taggart than her hister Isabella or whether Catherine was the daughter of Evalina Eighmy and Isabella's husband. End of comment. As of 1887,her married name was Painter.¹

     William Ernest Painter was born on 25 February 1868 at PA.¹ He married Catherine Taggart, daughter of Edward Taggart and Isabella Esa Eighmy, in 1887.¹ William Ernest Painter died on 8 September 1938 at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK, at age 70.¹

     Earl Ernest Painter was born on 24 November 1891 at Brush Creek, Fulton co., PA.¹ He was the son of William Ernest Painter and Catherine Taggart.¹ Earl Ernest Painter married Stella Angeline Brower, daughter of Frank Edward Brower and Clara McCollum, circa 1930.^1,2 Earl Ernest Painter died on 24 August 1958 at Bartlesville, Washington Co., OK, at age 66.¹

     Stella Angeline Brower was born on 25 August 1906 at OK.² She was the daughter of Frank Edward Brower and Clara McCollum.² Stella Angeline Brower married Earl Ernest Painter, son of William Ernest Painter and Catherine Taggart, circa 1930.^1,3 Stella Angeline Brower died in May 1987 at Bartlesville, Washington Co., OK, at age 80.²
     As of circa 1930,her married name was Painter.

     Hazel Lucille Painter was born on 18 May 1895 at Cygnet, Wood Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Ernest Painter and Catherine Taggart.¹ Hazel Lucille Painter married Cal. M. Shugert circa 1914.^2,3 Hazel Lucille Painter died on 18 September 1965 at Houston, Harris Co., TX, at age 70.¹
     As of circa 1914,her married name was Shugert.

     Cal. M. Shugert was born circa 1894 at IN.² He married Hazel Lucille Painter, daughter of William Ernest Painter and Catherine Taggart, circa 1914.^1,2

     Isabelle Mary Shugert is the daughter of Cal. M. Shugert and Hazel Lucille Painter.¹

     Robert McDonald Hitchman was born on 22 December 1917 at Mexico.² He was the son of Alexander Byers Hitchman.³ Robert McDonald Hitchman died on 3 January 1971 at San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX, at age 53.² He was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX.³

     Cal McDonald Hitchman is the son of Robert McDonald Hitchman and Isabelle Mary Shugert.¹
