     He , known as Frank, joined the Marines in San Diego, California, in 1926. They said he needed a goiter operation and he was given a medical discharge. He was never bothered by the goiter his entire life. He worked during World War II for the construction firm Johnson & Greene and worked on government projects. After that he worked two doors from his home in West Branch, Michigan, at Bachleder's Machine shop. They did a lot of work on oil well pipes. He was forced to retire early because of bursistis in his shoulders and arms.¹

Stuber, daughter of John Henry Stuber and Fannie D. Powell, on 25 December 1919 at Clio, Genesee Co., MI.¹ Rollin E. Goodrich died on 24 May 1986 at Clio, Genesee Co., MI, at age 90.¹ He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio, Genesee Co., MI.¹
