     As of 14 February 1930,her married name was Angle. From an obituary: Haines Falls - Martha Pond Angle, 91, of Haines Falls died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. She was born Feb 12, 1912, a daughter of Eric and Minetta Iries Pond of Windham. They were the parents of 17 children. She was married on Feb. 14, 1930 to the late Le Roy Angle of Haines Falls. Two of their sons, Edward Le Roy Angle died in 1987 and Richard Francis Angle died in 1995. His wife, Carol Tieda died in 1993. Also, one daughter, Elvena Martha Williams died in 1985. Mrs. Angle dedicated her life to her husband and family as well as working 50 years in Twilight Park in Haines Falls. Wintering in Sarasota, Fla., she catered social events for her many clients and managed family obligations. She was well loved and respected by all the lives she touched. Survivors include one son, Robert Thomas Angle of Haines Falls and wife, Joan Margaret Christian of Westkill; also one daughter, Jeanette June Angle Rivenburg and husband Sherwood Rivenburg of Catskill; a daughter-in-law Marianne Angle of Sarasota, Fla., a son-in-law, Ronald Williams of Kingston; her twin sister, Marian Benjamin of Saugerties. 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Private cremation was performed at National Cremation of Syracuse. Interment and memorial will take place in Haines Falls Methodist Cemetery in spring 2003.¹
