     Comment by DGB: This is likely the "Villa" listed in Orville Ball's deposition to obtain a share of his grandmother Whitney's estate and could be a child's middle name, but I have not found any other reference. End of comment.

     Jesse Forest Spangenberg was born on 12 April 1896 at South Canaan, Wayne Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Bertha Mae (????).² Jesse Forest Spangenberg married Helen Denny, daughter of Judson Matthew Denny and Nora Patten, on 28 July 1936.¹ Jesse Forest Spangenberg died on 16 April 1966 at age 70.¹ He was buried at Ball's Eddy, Winterdale, Wayne Co., PA.¹

     Helen Denny was born on 22 August 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Judson Matthew Denny and Nora Patten.¹ Helen Denny married Jesse Forest Spangenberg, son of Bertha Mae (????), on 28 July 1936.¹ Helen Denny died in January 2003 at PA at age 84.²

     Stuart Jerome Spangenberg was born on 26 August 1937.¹ He was the son of Jesse Forest Spangenberg and Helen Denny.¹ Stuart Jerome Spangenberg died on 11 September 2003 at Deposit, Broome Co., NY, at age 66.¹ He was buried on 15 September 2003 at Ball's Eddy, Winterdale, Wayne Co., PA.¹

     Sidney James Spangenberg was born on 3 September 1942.¹ He was the son of Jesse Forest Spangenberg and Helen Denny.¹ Sidney James Spangenberg died on 29 April 1962 at age 19.¹

     Judson Matthew Denny was born on 1 June 1856 at PA.¹ He was the son of Jeremiah Denny and Mary Wilsey.¹ Judson Matthew Denny married Nora Patten.¹ Judson Matthew Denny married Ella Kelley on 1 January 1881.¹ Judson Matthew Denny died on 2 January 1920 at age 63.¹ He was buried at Ararat, Susquehanna Co., PA.¹

     Nora Patten was born circa 1890 at PA.¹ She married Judson Matthew Denny, son of Jeremiah Denny and Mary Wilsey.¹ Nora Patten died circa 1922.¹

     William Denny was born in June 1917.¹ He was the son of Judson Matthew Denny and Nora Patten.¹

     Anna Denny was the daughter of Judson Matthew Denny and Nora Patten.¹

     Ella Kelley married Judson Matthew Denny, son of Jeremiah Denny and Mary Wilsey, on 1 January 1881.¹

     Simeon Benjamin Barrigar was born on 22 November 1846 at NY.¹ He married Frances Amelia Denny, daughter of Jeremiah Denny and Mary Wilsey, on 13 October 1866.¹ Simeon Benjamin Barrigar married Caroline Eva Denny, daughter of Jeremiah Denny and Mary Wilsey, on 16 September 1874.¹ Simeon Benjamin Barrigar died on 15 April 1881 at age 34.¹ He was buried at Manzer Cemetery, South Gibson, Susquehanna Co., PA.¹
