     Frank E. Bills was born on 12 December 1857 at NY.² He was the son of Daniel Buel Bills and Mary Jane Ball.¹ Frank E. Bills married Della A. Brown circa 1884.³ Frank E. Bills died on 23 August 1936 at age 78.² He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, Marshall Co., IA.⁴

     Fred A. Bills was born on 14 July 1862 at Madison, Jones Co., IA.² He was the son of Daniel Buel Bills and Mary Jane Ball.³ Fred A. Bills married Sarah Jane French, daughter of Joseph French and Gracie Catherine Beaver, on 16 January 1894 at Wyoming, Jones Co., IA.⁴ Fred A. Bills died on 23 August 1926 at Wyoming, Jones Co., IA, at age 64.² He was buried at Antioch Cemetery, west of Wyoming, Jones Co., IA.²
     The "A" in his name did not stand for any name. Fred bought the Iowa farm in 1902 from the Wood family when the father of Grant Wood, the painter of American Gothic, died in 1901. In about 1914, Fred sold the Iowa farm and moved to near City Point,Wisconsin. He was lured there by the promise of cheap land. Unfortunately the soil was very poor and was almost impossible to farm and they moved back to Iowa.⁵ From an obituary: Fred A. Bills, long term resident of Jackson township died Friday evening after have been ill for years. Born in Madison township July 14, 1862, his boyhood days were spent on the farm there, with the exception of a brief period in New York at the time of his mothers death. Miss Sarah Jane French of Wyoming became his wife on January 16, 1894 and a home was made on a farm near Anamosa, after which they moved to Wisconsin. The failing health of Mr. Bills and the desire to return to the old home caused them to return to Wyoming three years ago. The survivors are his wife, two daughters, Ruth, at home and Esther Paulson of Flint, Mich; three sons, Chester and Dilman of Flint, Mich., and Edwin of City Point, Wis; a brother, Frank E. of Marahaltown; a sister, Carrie Waggoner of Olin; and six grandchildren. Mr Bills was a member of the M. W. A. and the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held from the home and Antioch church near here Monday morning with the Rev. Nicholas officiating.      Emerancy Newcomb Howard was born on 10 June 1833 at Madison Co., NY.¹ She married Daniel Buel Bills, son of Chester Bills and Mary Day, on 24 March 1864.¹ Emerancy Newcomb Howard died on 31 March 1912 at Anamosa, Jones Co., IA, at age 78.¹ She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa, Jones Co., IA.¹
     As of 24 March 1864,her married name was Bills.

     Carrie Luella Bills was born on 5 June 1867 at Jackson, Jones Co., IA.¹ She was the daughter of Daniel Buel Bills and Emerancy Newcomb Howard.² Carrie Luella Bills married James Franklin Waggoner, son of Charles B. Waggoner and Mary Catherine May, on 1 November 1883 at Anamosa, Jones Co., IA.³ Carrie Luella Bills died on 13 October 1938 at Anamosa, Jones Co., IA, at age 71.³ She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa, Jones Co., IA.³
     As of 1883,her married name was Waggoner.¹

     Jennie L. Ball was born on 28 March 1874.¹ She was the daughter of Alfred Henry Ball and Caroline M. Taylor.² Jennie L. Ball died on 18 April 1875 at age 1.¹

     Myrtle J. Howard was born on 9 March 1886 at Cottage, Cattaraugus Co., NY.² She married Charles Stephen Ball, son of Alfred Henry Ball and Caroline M. Taylor, circa 1905.¹ Myrtle J. Howard died on 5 May 1955 at age 69.²

     Howard C. Ball was born on 27 August 1906 at Forestville, Chautauqua Co., NY.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Stephen Ball and Myrtle J. Howard.¹ Howard C.
