     Lafayette Ball was born in February 1832 at VT.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Conley Ball and Eleanor Rogers.¹ Lafayette Ball married Sarah A. (????) say 1865.³

     Esther A. Ball was born circa 1834 at VT; shown on 1900 census as born in November.^1,3 She was the daughter of Edward Conley Ball and Eleanor Rogers.¹ Esther A. Ball married Newton J. Wilcox.⁴ Esther A. Ball died on 22 August 1922 at Mechanicville, Saratoga Co., NY.² She was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Orwell, Addison Co., VT.²

     Florence Ball was born circa December 1849 at VT; Comment by DGB: she was living with the family of George W. Ball for the 1850 census, but was listed after George's mother, wihich would imply not a child of George; as well, George's child Emily was born 1 Aug 1850, which would further confirm that Florence was not his child, since that was too short a period between children. End of comment.¹

     Rachel Perkins was born in November 1776.¹ She married Joshua Morse circa 1796.¹ Rachel Perkins married Eleazer Ball, son of Eleazer Ball and Mary Bradish, in July 1809 at Lisbon, Grafton Co., NH.² Rachel Perkins died on 23 March 1837 at age 60.¹ She was buried at Sunny Side Cemetery, Sugar Hill, Grafton Co., NH.¹
     As of circa 1796,her married name was Morse. As of July 1809,her married name was Ball.
