     Zach Millard Bardwell was born on 16 February 1872 at Newton Co., IN.¹ He was the son of Silas Washington Bardwell and Mary Susan Oliver.¹ Zach Millard Bardwell died in 1948.¹

     Lizzie Lorina Bardwell was born on 12 September 1875 at Newton Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Washington Bardwell and Mary Susan Oliver.¹ Lizzie Lorina Bardwell died in 1960.¹

     Ira Silas Bardwell was born on 19 September 1878 at Ness Co., KS.¹ He was the son of Silas Washington Bardwell and Mary Susan Oliver.¹ Ira Silas Bardwell died on 20 August 1902 at Great Bend, Barton Co., KS, at age 23.¹

     Marietta Bardwell was born on 10 November 1885 at Great Bend, Barton Co., KS.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Washington Bardwell and Mary Susan Oliver.¹ Marietta Bardwell died at CA.¹

     Rosalia Victoria Stevens was born in December 1865 at Camden, Hillsdale Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of John Stevens and Anna Dickinson.¹ Rosalia Victoria Stevens married James Mattison, son of Allen Mattison and Cornelia Buchanan, in 1884.¹ Rosalia Victoria Stevens married Joe Moulton on 7 October 1898 at Nicholson, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ Rosalia Victoria Stevens and Joe Moulton were divorced on 18 June 1912.¹ Rosalia Victoria Stevens married Harmon Ball, son of William Ball and Elizabeth Billings, on 2 February 1914.² Rosalia Victoria Stevens died on 24 December 1948 at Nicholson, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ She was buried at Lincoln Cemetery, Tompkins, Jackson Co., MI.¹
     As of 1884,her married name was Mattison.¹ As of 7 October 1898,her married name was Moulton.¹ As of 2 February 1914,her married name was Ball.

     Harmon Ball was born on 7 May 1860 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA.² He was the son of William Ball and Elizabeth Billings.³ Harmon Ball married Martha R. Carey, daughter of Merritt W. Carey and Mary Courtright, on 25 November 1881 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA.² Harmon Ball married Rosalia Victoria Stevens, daughter of John Stevens and Anna Dickinson, on 2 February 1914.² Harmon Ball died on 9 August 1937 at East Lemon, Wyoming Co., PA, at age 77.³ He was buried at Ball/Shaw Cemetery, Wyoming Co., PA.²

     William Ball was born circa 1837 at Nicholson, Wyoming Co., PA.^1,2 He was the son of Orville A. Ball and Mahala Shaw.¹ William Ball married Elizabeth Billings, daughter of Abel Billings and Percinda Carey, circa 1860.¹ William Ball died on 4 October 1876 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA.¹

     Elizabeth Billings was born circa 1844 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Abel Billings and Percinda Carey.¹ Elizabeth Billings married William Ball, son of Orville A. Ball and Mahala Shaw, circa 1860.¹
     As of circa 1860,her married name was Ball.

     Orville A. Ball was born on 18 February 1808 at Moretown, Washington Co., VT; "Orvill."² He was the son of Amos Ball and Mercy Mary Whitney.³ Orville A. Ball married Mahala Shaw, daughter of Nehemiah Shaw and Nancy Williams, circa 1824.¹ Orville A. Ball died on 24 January 1903 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., PA, at age 94.¹
     Comment by DGB: The 1850 census lists a daughter Alvira in this family, but it is my opinion that this was an error in recording son Oliver, mostly because Oliver was not listed in the 1850 census, but was there in 1860 and on, but also that there does not seem to be any other record showning Alvira. Further, going by the majority of the subsequent censuses, the birth year for Seth should be 1828 and the birth year for Theron should be about 1831; Theron does not show on the 1830 census and is under 10 for the 1840 census.      Mahala Shaw was born on 23 November 1808 at East Lemon, Wyoming Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Nehemiah Shaw and Nancy Williams.¹ Mahala Shaw married Orville A. Ball, son of Amos Ball and Mercy Mary Whitney, circa 1824.² Mahala Shaw died on 29 April 1886 at East Lemon, Wyoming Co., PA, at age 77.³
     As of circa 1824,her married name was Ball. From an obituary: Mahala Ball, wife of Orville Ball, passed peacefully away from earthly home and friends on Thursday last, in her seventy-eighth year. Though for a long time she had been ill without hope of recovery, yet at this time she appeared so much better that death came suddenly and unexpectedly. She leaves a husband and several children, grand-children, and great-grand-children. There seemed to be room in her heart of all a mother's love to all. Old-fashioned hospitality (not so common as it once was) seemed to be a failing with her and many a wanderer has found food and lodging beneath her roof. East Lemon.³

     Amos Ball was born on 28 January 1775 at VT.¹ He was the son of (????) Ball.² Amos Ball married Mercy Mary Whitney, daughter of Gershom Whitney and Bethsheba Sarah Thayer, on 16 June 1799 at Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT.³ Amos Ball died say 1855 at Brooklyn, Susquehanna Co., PA.⁴ He was buried at Harford Cemetery, Susquehanna Co., PA.⁵
     Comment by DGB: yDNA tests of descendants of Amos Ball indicate that he was a direct descendant of John Ball and Elizabeth Pierce of Watertown and Lancaster MA. End of comment.
