Mary B. Ball1

F, #19720, b. circa 25 August 1815, d. 2 May 1883
Mary B. Ball was born circa 25 August 1815; age at death 67y 8m 7d.1 She was the daughter of William Ball and Mercy S. Southard.1 Mary B. Ball married Moses Farmer, son of Moses Farmer and Sarah Jaquith.1 Mary B. Ball died on 2 May 1883.1 She was buried at Sebec Corner Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis Co., ME.2
Comment by DGB: The cemetery record lists her name as "Mary B. Farmer", identifies her as daughter of William and Mercy Ball, but lists her husband as David Farmer with no further record. There was a David and Mary A. Farmer listed in the 1850 census at Temple, Franklin Co., ME and in the 1860 census at Charleston, Penobscot Co., ME. Besides being "Mary A.", rather than "Mary B." and b. c1821 rather than c1815, they are different people because Mary B. Ball was still single and living with her parents in 1850. The census records for Moses and Mary Farmer are a better fit. End of comment. Her married name was Farmer.1
