     Hannah Ball was born on 20 May 1700 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "Hannah Bael."² She was the daughter of John Ball and Bethiah Medap.¹ Hannah Ball married William Robinson on 17 February 1731/32.¹

     John Ball was born on 25 December 1704 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "John Bael."² He was the son of John Ball and Bethiah Medap.¹ John Ball married Mary Benjamin, daughter of Daniel Benjamin and Elizabeth (????), on 3 June 1725 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ John Ball married Anna (????) on 26 April 1753 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴ John Ball died on 10 December 1769 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 64.⁵

     Mary Clark was born on 9 January 1698.¹ She married John Ball, son of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, on 12 November 1730. Mary Clark died on 5 July 1738 at age 40.¹

     Elizabeth Fiske was born on 7 March 1670.¹ She married James Ball, son of John Ball and Sarah Bullard, on 16 January 1693/94.¹ Elizabeth Fiske died in 1740.¹

     James Ball was born on 2 February 1694/95 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ James Ball married Hannah (????).¹ James Ball married Sarah Harrington circa 1727. James Ball died on 31 May 1756 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 61.³

     Nathan Ball was born on 28 February 1695/96 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Nathan Ball married Mary Williams circa 1718.¹ Nathan Ball and Dinah Fay posted marriage intentions on 30 April 1764 at Westborough, Worcester Co., MA; "May ye 8th, 1764, on ye day above sd ye above sd Nathan Ball forbid his being published to ye above sd Dinah Fay."³ Nathan Ball died on 7 July 1768 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 72.⁴
     Nathan and his brother, James, settled in that part of Westboro, later set off to Northboro, now known as Ball Hill. Their houses were located on a sort of plateau at the very top of the hill, overlooking the center of the town of Northboro and located about three miles therefrom.¹

     John Ball was born on 22 July 1697 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² He was the son of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ John Ball was baptized on 13 April 1698 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ He married Abigail Harrington, daughter of Samuel Harrington and Grace (????), say 1717.¹ John Ball married Mary Clark on 12 November 1730. John Ball married Lydia (????) on 4 October 1739 at Waltham, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴ John Ball died on 11 January 1756 at Worcester, Worcester Co., MA, at age 58.¹ He was buried at Worcester Common, Worcester, Worcester Co., MA.¹
     According to the Warren work:

"In some of the records we find Mary Clark given as the second wife of this (#83) John Ball and Lydia Perry as his third wife. Then again, Mary Clark is given as second wife of (#18) John Ball.

"The Watertown Vital Records have four children definitely assigned to (#83) John and Abigail Harrington - namely: Grace, b. 1721, Amitee, b. 1723, Abigail, b. 1724 and Samuel, b. 1726-died 1726. From here the Waltham Vital Records takes up the thread and records wife Abigail's death in 1728 and Amitie's death in 1738. This shows that (#83) John was living in Watertown in 1726 and in Waltham in 1728. The Waltham Vital Records give the marriage of (#78) John & Mary Benjamin in 1725. This (#78) John I have as son of (#18) John and Bethiah Medap and 1st cousin of (#83) John and Abigail Harrington. The (#18) John just mentioned is the one whom Bond and the Clark Genealogy say married second Mary Clark. Beginning the year following the marriage of (#78) John and Mary Benjamin, the Waltham Vital Records have an unbroken record of births to 'John & Mary' up to 1752, when Mary Benjamin died. The year following 1753 (#78) John married Anna Harrington and the Waltham Vital Records continues with five or six births to 'John & Anna' all of which died.

"The Waltham Vital Records give the marriage of (#83) John and Lydia Perry in 1739 and also births to 'John & Lydia' of Lydia, Mary, John, Josiah and Isaac.

"Now there may have been two … 'Johns' and two 'Marys' in Waltham at the same time, (1728-1739) and the children recorded under 'John & Mary' may have been indiscriminately born to both couples; however there are no conflicts in the dates of birth and they follow at more or less standard interval for those times. If there were two couples (John & Mary), one couple must have been John and Mary Benjamin and the other may have been John and Mary Clark. Apparently others think so, for out of the dozen or so children listed to 'John & Mary' they have selected James, Samuel and Nathan as belonging to (#18) John and Mary Clark and have abandoned the others arbitrarily to (#78) John and Mary Benjamin. The reason undoubtedly is that this solution best fits the terms of (#83) John will.

"Now to the will: first he mentions his wife Lydia; second, his daughter Anna, wife of Bartlett; third 'my eldest son, James'; then follow the names of the remaining sons, beginning with Daniel, finally his daughter Mary is mentioned.

"Undoubtedly, all of the above were living in 1756 and I believe they were named in the will in the order of their births. I accept the above list in the order named, but do not pretend to know whether the mother of James, Daniel, Samuel and Nathan was Abigail H. or Mary Clark.

"Right here comes the stickler as far as the Mary Clark adherents are concerned. The will states that James was the oldest son and it mentions Anna before James. This leads me to suppose that both Anna and James were older than Daniel. Now, Daniel's birth is given in the Shrewsbury record as 1720 and if Anna and James were ahead of him, they must have fitted in along 1718-19. On the other hand, if Daniel was born to Mary Clark, it would have been 1731 or after, and he married in 1749. Some things do not seem to be reconciled, but why quarrel? We all agree that they lived, and their later history is much in agreement. I cannot see how it affects a Ball Genealogy as to which was the mother of whom. If we were concerned with a Clark Genealogy, it would be a different matter, and apparently the writer of the latter was willing to make no claim on the Ball family for its descendants."¹

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 8 April 1699 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Elizabeth Ball was baptized on 22 October 1699 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ She died on 4 October 1703 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 4.⁴

     Sarah Ball was born on 1 September 1700 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Sarah Ball was baptized on 22 June 1701 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ She married Daniel Hastings, son of Samuel Hastings and Sarah Coolidge, on 5 August 1724 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.⁴

     Daniel Hastings was born on 19 July 1702.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hastings and Sarah Coolidge. Daniel Hastings married Sarah Ball, daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, on 5 August 1724 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.²

     Abigail Ball was born on 5 June 1702 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Abigail Ball was baptized on 1 November 1702 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ She married Jonathan Livermore on 23 June 1723.¹ Abigail Ball died on 5 June 1775 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 73.

     Jonathan Livermore was born on 16 August 1700 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA. He married Abigail Ball, daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, on 23 June 1723.¹ Jonathan Livermore died on 21 April 1801 at Northborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 100.

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 9 April 1705 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Elizabeth Ball married Thomas Fuller, son of Jeremiah Fuller and Thankful Bird, on 2 April 1728 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³

     Thomas Fuller was born on 12 September 1701. He was the son of Jeremiah Fuller and Thankful Bird. Thomas Fuller married Elizabeth Ball, daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, on 2 April 1728 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² Thomas Fuller died on 13 November 1748 at age 47.

     Susannah Ball was born on 16 March 1707 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.² She was the daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske.¹ Susannah Ball married Josiah Stearns on 21 December 1729 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³

     Josiah Stearns married Susannah Ball, daughter of James Ball and Elizabeth Fiske, on 21 December 1729 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.²

     Elizabeth Parkhurst was born on 18 September 1681.¹ She married Joseph Ball, son of John Ball and Sarah Bullard, on 31 December 1701 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.²

     Stephen Noble was born on 7 April 1765 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He married Esther Smith, daughter of Thomas Smith and Esther Ball, on 7 April 1790 at West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ Stephen Noble and Esther Smith posted marriage intentions on 10 March 1790 at West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.² Stephen Noble died on 28 August 1823 at Markham, York Co., ON, Canada, at age 58.¹

     Joseph Ball was born on 1 October 1702 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Joseph Ball and Elizabeth Parkhurst.² Joseph Ball married Bathsheba Bellows, daughter of Isaac Bellows and Elizabeth Howe, on 6 May 1731 at Southborough, Worcester Co., MA.³ Joseph Ball died on 14 January 1781 at Southborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 78.⁴

     Abigail Ball was born on 27 March 1705 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "Abigail Bael."¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Elizabeth Parkhurst.² Abigail Ball married Jacob Morse, son of John Morse and Abigail (????), on 26 February 1728/29 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.^3,4

     Jacob Morse was born on 1 July 1703 at Sudbury, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ He was the son of John Morse and Abigail (????).¹ Jacob Morse married Abigail Ball, daughter of Joseph Ball and Elizabeth Parkhurst, on 26 February 1728/29 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.^2,3

     Peter Ball was born on 7 October 1707 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA; "Peter Bael."¹ He was the son of Joseph Ball and Elizabeth Parkhurst.² Peter Ball married Rebecca Seaverns on 6 May 1730.² Peter Ball married Abigail Dix on 6 September 1732 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³ Peter Ball died on 10 April 1754 at Southborough, Worcester Co., MA, at age 46.⁴
     "Josiah and his brother Peter took deed from William Brewer of Boston of considerable land east of Long Pond, in that part of Milford now set off to Mendon. Peter sold his portion of holdings and located in Southboro, while Josiah located and resided in Mendon."²

     Elizabeth Ball was born on 15 March 1710 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Elizabeth Parkhurst.² Elizabeth Ball married William Brewer on 3 February 1731/32 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.³
